Introducing Obvious Joke Productions

Obvious Joke Productions is the new home for the live entertainment projects created by Daniel Bradshaw and Eric Mosley, bringing Rogue Theatrics and Shovel City Improv together under one production company.

Daniel and Eric have spent the past several years writing, producing, performing, and building live shows in Marion. Obvious Joke Productions gives that work a more permanent structure and creates room to do more of it, from original sketch comedy and improv to live music, special events, collaborations, and new concepts still waiting to get out of the notebook.

Rogue Theatrics will continue producing its themed sketch-and-music shows, while Shovel City Improv remains focused on completely unscripted comedy. Obvious Joke Productions will support both groups while also developing additional entertainment opportunities throughout the area.

The goal is pretty simple: create more interesting things to see, give performers more opportunities to make them, and keep finding new reasons for people to go out and experience something live.
