Rogue Theatrics creates original live productions built around sketch comedy, live music, video, and a rotating mix of performers and collaborators.

Based in Marion, Ohio, Rogue has developed a style that blends the structure of a variety show with the energy of live comedy and music. Each production is created around a central theme, with original sketches, musical performances, digital pieces, and other elements designed specifically for that show.

The group’s productions are developed collaboratively, bringing together writers, actors, musicians, and creative partners to build each event from the ground up. That process gives every show its own identity while keeping the focus on strong material, memorable performances, and a live experience that feels different from a traditional play or concert.

Now operating under Obvious Joke Productions, Rogue Theatrics will continue producing full-scale themed shows while also exploring new formats, special events, and collaborations.

The next production is Fright Night, coming October 24 and 25, 2026, as the premiere event in The Sterling Room at Kin & Kilt in Downtown Marion.
